Brief Introduction to Research Interests and Academic Achievements |
Dr. Liu Jiahong is one of the backbone researchers in IWHR, majored in urban hydrology, ranked as a professor level senior engineer. His research fields include urban hydrology, urban flood modelling & control, sponge city construction technology, urban ecological restoration, etc. He is the distinguished young scholars supported by Natural Science Fund of China, and he is also funded by National Special Talents Support Program. He is the section chief of Urban Hydrology Research Group in IWHR, and adjunct professor of Beijing University of Technology. He is also section chief of Engineering and Technology Research Center for Water resources and Hydroecology, Ministry of Water Resources; deputy director of the Water Resources Committee, Chinese Natural Resources Society. He has published 170+ scientific papers, SCI-42, EI-75, CSCD-52; 8 monographs; 21 patents. He has won First Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award; the provincial first prize for 4 times; and the Global Human Settlements Award. |
