Brief Introduction to Research Interests and Academic Achievements |
Dr. Bo Gao is a senior engineer at the Department of Water Environment, China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, China. His research mainly focuses on: (1)geochemistry, transport and fate of trace metals in water environment; (2) sediment quality and impact assessment of trace metals; (3) metal bioavailability, metal bioaccumulation. In recent years, he is also interested in the application of DGT (diffusive gradients in thin films) in the aquatic environment, especially in Chinese reservoirs. Up to now, he has presided over 20 projects and published more than 100 peer-reviewed SCI papers in international journals. These papers were cited by other authors for 1000 times, indicating the applicant has the international influence. He currently serves as an editorial board member of Science of the Total Environment. |
