Research interests:

Drought simulation model；Drought monitoring and analysis method；

Drought impact analysis and risk assessment；Historical extreme drought reconstruction.

Academic achievement:

In recent 5 years, as a project leader and technical director, Prof. Qu has undertaken over 50 projects, ranging from National Key R&D projects to provincial and ministerial research projects. She has contributed to the compilation of six national or industry standards, published over 90 academic papers, and authored eight academic monographs as a lead author. Prof. Qu’s outstanding achievements have been recognized with numerous academic awards, including two First-class Prizes of the Dayu Water Conservancy Science and Technology Award, one First-class Prize of China Dam Science and Technology Progress Award, the "Outstanding Achievement Award" by the Asian Development Bank and the Ministry of Finance.
