IWHR Hosts Tree-Planting Event for 2024 Graduates

On March 28th 2024, IWHR organized a special tree-planting event for the 2024 graduates. President of IWHR Prof. Peng Jing, Vice President Prof. Wang Jianhua, staff and students from the Graduate School jointly planted a magnolia tree as a symbol for memories.

Gathering around the blooming white magnolia trees, President Peng Jing began the event with a metaphorical reference to the magnolia flower's essence, "Just as jade needs to be carved to become valuable, and one needs to learn to understand righteousness," encouraging students to cherish their time in IWHR, dedicate themselves to learning, and advance their knowledge further here. She emphasized the importance of fostering a lifelong learning habit, relying on continuous learning to transit from campus to society, and updating oneself to lay a solid foundation for future careers and personal development.
